In the bow workshop, all 4 groups will rotate between 4 different workstations where they will learn how about bows, their selection, and their maintenance.

 

The workstations are:

  • Types of bows and their associated accessories.
  • Recurve – set brace height, nocking point and accessories.
  • Compound – install D loop, peep sight, and accessories.
  • Paper tuning.

 

Each workstation should last 15 to 20 minutes and allow participants to try some of the tasks (hands on).

How it works

On all league nights we will get together and shoot a 300 scored round. The leader board will rank everyone on what percentage of their national record. At the end of the season all those who have participated in at least three league nights will be eligible for one of three most improved awards at the end of the season. There will also be awards for the three archers with the highest average percentage will also receive an award at the end of the season. To shoot it's ten dollars per non-member and five dollars per member.

Bow Workshop 2018 March 10 (Sunday)

In the bow workshop, all 4 groups will rotate between 4 different workstations where they will learn how about bows, their selection, and their maintenance.

 

The workstations are:

  • Types of bows and their associated accessories.
  • Recurve – set brace height, nocking point and accessories.
  • Compound – install D loop, peep sight, and accessories.
  • Paper tuning.

 

Each workstation should last 15 to 20 minutes and allow participants to try some of the tasks (hands on).

Kyudo Equipment is provided for the class. The class is taught in
accordance with Zenko International principles.

The cost for the Beginner Intensive will be $150 for the 2 days,
including breaks and lunches. Fee payment is required for
registration and must be received by 2018 April 30th.
