New Online Membership & Renewals Information
Jan 3rd, 2023
Following Archery AB and Archery Canada processes, we are now using an online format for new membership…
Group bookings are available on Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., depending on existing commitments.
We only accept two group bookings a month and very rarely do we accept bookings during weekdays due to the limited availability of our volunteer coaches.
Is someone you know having a birthday? Is your office looking for a team bonding event? The Capital Region Archery Club may be the solution for you.
The Capital Region Archery Club offers group bookings for birthday parties, team building activities and other groups interested in trying archery in a safe, private setting.
Being a volunteer-run organization, we appreciate sufficient lead time to organize Group Bookings. We try to maintain a ratio of 4 participants per coach and the maximum group size we can accommodate is 20.
The cost for a 2-hour group bookings is $20 per person. Included in the cost of your booking is instruction and ongoing coaching by our NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) trained coaches, the use of Club equipment (entry-level recurve bows, arrows, finger tab, and arm guard), and shooting time. Groups booking a private function also have access to all amenities in our range including our refrigerator of foods that must be kept cold and the use of our microwave. The booking party is responsibly for food, cutlery, and other supplies not related to archery, as well as providing for allergy-appropriate food and drink. You are responsible for cleaning up after your party. Cleaning supplies are available if needed.
Since archery is a sport that involves shooting projectiles, the use of alcohol in Capital Region Archery Club facilities is strictly prohibited.
On the day of your event, we would like to ask that all participants come with indoor shoes and if possible, try not to wear lose clothing. Most importantly, we ask that everyone come with an open mind and a willingness to have fun.
Please contact us a month or more in advance of your prospective date.
